The most common mistake is opting for a cup size that's too small. Make sure the cup fits your entire bust so that it doesn't spill out of the bra when you wear it.
The main function of the underwire is to lift and support the bust, and to distribute the weight of the bust evenly. If you experience chafing from the underwire, it may be because the cups are too small. Try going up a size and see if that helps, or choose a soft bra with wide sides and stable straps if you want a lot of support.
If your shoulder straps often slide down, try a bra model where they sit further into the bra or a model with a small hook on the back where you can hook the shoulder straps together to form an X.
If you have a larger bust, our tip is to choose a bra with padded, wide shoulder straps and a wide back strap, with at least 3-4 hooks. Try a bra with higher cups - this will give you good support.
A common mistake is to buy a bra that is too big, as the bra will ride up your back, and you might experience chafing from the straps due to them having to carry the entire weight of your bust. When you buy your bra, you should always fasten it on the outermost row of hooks. Over time, the fabric and the elastic will give a little, and then you can opt for one of the tighter hook settings. For the best support, choose a bra with 3 or 4 straps. Many of our models have wide and lined straps, ideal for avoiding chafing from the straps.
