Social Responsibility & Human Rights

Cellbes work with social responsibility and brand code of conduct

The social aspects in our production countries are an important issue for us and something we work with, partly through daily and close cooperation with our suppliers, but also through membership of the international organization Amfori. Our production office in Shanghai, which is both geographically and linguistically close to a large part of our production, is often of great help, especially when it comes to our daily communication with suppliers. Increasing and improving contact with our suppliers is something we are continuously working on, as we see this as an essential element to ensure a long-term and well-functioning cooperation.

Amfori BSCI

Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a world-leading initiative for companies that work with social responsibility with a focus on working conditions in the supply chain. Amfori BSCI is not a label in itself, but a working standard for companies. You will therefore not find any garments in our range that carry the BSCI label. However, it is a good indication that member companies are working seriously and methodically on social issues in the supply chain.

We also use Amfori BSCI’s Code of Conduct (CoC), which applies to all suppliers who do business with us, as well as their subcontractors. The Code of Conduct is based on 13 performance areas, which form the basis of BSCI’s work, and include requirements regarding safety, wages, working hours and child labor. Compliance with these requirements is verified through annual audits of the factories by independent inspection organizations.
